Menage Bound

Siddella, a tired corporate executive needs a break from the hectic work life she leads. Overstressed, she wouldn’t mind if that break came in the form of two hunky dominant males that cater to dark fantasies involving bondage of both the mind and body.

Jason and Chase have yearned for a woman who fit into their relationship. She’d be sexy, confident, self reliant and kinky? Damn right she would be. But her most prized possession would her acceptance of them as individuals and a couple.

When all three are separately given 1Night Stand cards, they realize the chance of a lifetime. Are they ultimately ménage bound?

Tricia: Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Sascha: Sure! My name is Sascha Illyvich and I'm the acknowledged Bad Boy of Romance. I've been writing professionally in romance over the last 14 years so I've seen a lot in the industry change. I'm the author of over 40 titles, mostly e-book but some print stuff.

Tricia: When did you begin writing?

Sascha: Professionally, about 14 years ago.

Tricia: Describe your writing process. Do you plot or write by the seat of your pants? When and where do you write?

Sascha: I'm a meticulous plotter. It makes the story so much easier since I write pretty hardcore and set a schedule. Basically once the story is plotted out, I can spend my time writing with the goal of hitting at least 10 pages (2,500 words) for the day and that's enough . If I get more of course, yay!

Tricia: Can you tell us about your most recent release?

Sascha: To be fair I haven't had a release this year so I'll give you info about the best acceptance I've had to date. Red Sage picked up Endangered, Nights of Lust book 1. Livía Ilona, vampire queen of San Francisco, and her lover Isabella, have kept The Syndicate and their drugs out of their territory until recently when a new boss stepped in and started making strict demands. Tiring of their threats, Livía strikes a deal with The Syndicate's leader to keep out of Nob Hill. All she has to do is kill the one man who happens to be causing problems—Joséf Staganov. Except he's not just a troublemaking ex-cop, he's the key to returning Livía's human soul.

Rogue cop turned vigilante, Joséf Staganov fights to keep The Syndicate and their drugs off the streets of San Francisco, using whatever means necessary. Aware that his life is on a short leash, he trusts only himself until even that trust is betrayed by an operation gone bad. Now hooked on the drugs he's trying to eradicate, Joséf vows to take as much of the criminal organization down as possible before he dies. Except during a fight, the Queen of the Night comes with her lover to his rescue and to abduct him.

Capture quickly turns to seduction until Joséf learns the real reason for his kidnapping: Recover Isabella's boy. The human in him still sees the good of his act, yet the beast Livía accidentally unleashes presents an all new threat. Can the threesome recover Isabella's son, topple the Syndicate and stop the threats on their lives?

Tricia: How did you get the idea for the book?

Sascha: Vampires were huge at the time of the inception of e-books and a publisher told me she wanted femdomme and vampire, so I came up with the idea of a rogue cop who wanted to burn out as a good guy, doing one last good deed before he did die. I needed a strong heroine but I ended up giving Joséf two heroines for this book.

Tricia: If you could recommend just one of your books to my readers, which book would you choose?

Sascha: Probably A Christmas Favour, or Stuck. They're both contemporary romances.

Tricia: Of all your characters, which one is your favorite? Why?

Sascha: I've always said Joséf because he reminds me of a version of me that no longer exists, plus, he's got a perfect ménage with two beautiful Hungarian women but right now it's a toss up between Ryan from my submission to Decadent Publishing for their 1NS series (he and the heroine get to have a LOT of wicked fun in Fiji) or Daniel from a hopefully soon to be agented contemporary romance "Liliana's Awakening" Daniel gets to realize his heart's desire for a penpal he's had for years when she comes to America seeking passion.

Tricia: What was the most challenging aspect of writing your book?

Sascha: With Endangered, it was literally taking the bottle out of Joséf's hand and trying to balance the romance with the angst and passion of the story without making it too dark. There are redemption themes in the first book but I was at a dark point in my life where I thought I couldn't fix me and no one else could either.

Tricia: What would you like to tell us about your book or your writing that someone wouldn’t discover during a casual review of your blurb or website?

Sascha: I once wrote SEO copy for a number of porn sites and now certain sexual acts bore me? I don't know, I'm pretty much an open book.

Tricia: What is your primary goal as an author?

Sascha: Money honey! LOL! Seriously, that too, but to bring readers everywhere stories that stir the heart, among other things. I want my readers to know the world is okay and that it can be made safe.

Tricia: Which authors have inspired your writing?

Sascha: Christina Dodd, Lora Leigh, JR Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, Laurel. K. Hamilton

Tricia: What projects are you currently working on?

Sascha: Several as usual. I'm researching for a mystery romance/romantic suspense that agent Saritza Hernandez wants from me. I'll give details when the plot is solidified and I've got my murders lined up! I'm also in the "resting" stage with Liliana's Awakening as I just finished it at the end of May and it needs to be perfect for Sari.

Tricia: What advice would you offer to new or aspiring authors?

Sascha: Learn this business as well as you can, but even when it's beating you down, dust your shoulders off and go it again.
